The practice

Bracken Lawyers is a legal practice focusing on property and commercial transactions. We are based in Castlemaine and handle matters throughout Central Victoria, Daylesford and Macedon Ranges. We also service Melbourne based clients and projects with a visiting office. Utilising our market knowledge and experience, we will identify the issues, provide accurate advice and deliver the solution you require. For further information, see our service pages.

Our approach is to be flexible, responsive and efficient. In today's commercial environment, legal services need to be provided this way. By keeping the practice client-focused, we are able to provide a dynamic and comprehensive service. Our advice, documents and communication will always be clear, effective and timely. Importantly, our structure is modelled around cost-effectiveness and value, with fixed and certain fees agreed in most cases.

We understand how important your legal transaction is and the risks involved. For clients not familiar with the type of matter being undertaken, you will be carefully guided through the process and, in all cases, kept fully informed. You will always be encouraged to contact us with any concerns or questions.

Community

If you are a local community group, feel free to contact Ian if you have any general legal questions or concerns. We have allocated capacity for pro bono assistance to local volunteers and where unable to directly assist may be able to guide you in the right direction. We recognise that so many people give their time for the benefit of their community and deserve assistance where possible.
